SFNBR Survival Guide: 1. Starting Location

The best key to survival is by landing in a good starting location. The bus that brings you into the map comes from different directions every match, giving gamers a fair chance to choose their own area of the map and it breaks up the monotony of traditional starting points in PvP games.

There are 18 labeled towns, as well as numerous unlabeled houses and buildings and shacks to explore for loot and gear.

Grids Locations:
B1= Junk Junction     E4= Loot Lake           G4= Tomato Town       I5= Lonely Lodge
B3= Haunted Hills     D5= Tilted Towers     F5= Dusty Depot         H6= Retail Row
C3= Pleasant Park      D7= Shifty Shafts      F7= Salty Springs        I9= Moisty Mire
A5= Snobby Shores   D9= Flush Factory     G8= Fatal Fields
C7= Greasy Grove     F2= Anarchy Acres    I3= Wailing Woods

Helpful Strategies:
1) Land on the outer perimeter of the map and work your way in with the storm.
2) Skydive straight down to your destination. *Reduces time*
3) Glide to the outer corners of the map, away from the buses route. *Tends to be less people*
4) Turn around and go to another area if you see a lot of rival players gliding to your intended area.
5) **Most Important** Chest are more likely to be in the attic so land on the roof.
6) If you find yourself alone in an area outside of the safe zone, utilize this time and collect resources. The first "Storm closing in" is the longest and slowest.
7) Learn what areas have what gear and which areas have chest.

These are a few of my helpful strategies concerning starting locations. If you want to see more feel free to contact me and I will impart more of my wisdom. For now this has been Sarge with Surviving Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Introduction

Welcome to Surviving Fortnite: Battle Royale! You can call me Sarge! This blog will serve as a way for me to impart my know-how to the masses on surviving in the PvP game mode of Fortnite titled Battle Royale. The game mode Fortnite: Battle Royale was released back in September of 2017. The game can be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for free.

If you are already playing this amazing game, this next part is information you already know. The gist of the game is to be the last player, or team (depending on the game mode) alive at the end of the match. You jump into an open island with an axe for gathering material. You loot chest and buildings for weapons and survival gear.

Check in with Surviving Fortnite for tips and strategies to help you to more survivable in the game.
